Wanchese Lions help support community member

Lion Bob Walton, secretary of the Wanchese Lions Club, presents a check to Finn Huth of Fresh Catch Seafood of Wanchese for Lana Beacham, who recently suffered a house fire, losing everything she owned.

The Fresh Catch Seafood Company is accepting monetary donations on Beacham’s behalf from those who would like to contribute.

The Wanchese Lions Club was chartered in February of 1980 and has served the Wanchese community since then.

It meets every second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Wanchese Community Building any interested persons are welcome to attend.
