Thomas Jackson “Jack” Polson, 76, of Kill Devil Hills, died peacefully on May 27, 2021 after a long battle with salivary gland cancer.

Jack grew up in Portsmouth, Va. and honorably served in the Army.

Jack is survived by partner Norma Scazzafavo, daughter Debbie Fernandez (Scott), son T.J. (Nikki), grandkids Lauren, Evan, Kaleigh, Aidan, Jackson, Regan, Lilly and Olivia, sister Norma Langston and stepdaughter Jen Batchler. He was predeceased by his youngest son and best friend, Jonathan.
