The Cape Hatteras Secondary School prom featured a formal dinner for the Great Gatsby-themed evening.

The event was held at Klub Koru on the Avon oceanfront. The pavilion’s massive doors were open, creating an outside space for dining at tables covered with white tablecloths.

The dinner started with a plate of appetizers featuring shrimp, a barbecue slider, hummus and chips. Next came soup, two choices, and salad. Four entrees were offered: prime rib, chicken parmesan, veggie pasta and crab cake.
