Carolyn Browning Woodard, 83, 0f Kill Devil Hills, died June 1, 2021 at Spring Arbor of The Outer Banks.

Born in San Diego, CA on June 26, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Laura Lee Ornduff and Leitha Earl Browning.

She is survived by husband Ralph W. Woodard Jr.; daughters Carolyn Wakeley and Yvonne Bason; sons Winston Woodard and Mac Woodard; grandchildren Elizabeth Kenan, Rachel Fucci, Benjamin Tillet-Wakeley, Stephen Harris, Evie Schneider, Woody Harris, Jonathan Tetterton, Jason Tetterton, Shelby Woodard and Cayla Woodard; nine great-grandchildren and another on the way; brother Charles Browning; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by daughter Denise Harris.

A memorial service will be held at noon on June 13 at Kitty Hawk United Methodist Church.
