Lula Mae Chambers, 78, of Elizabeth City, died May 28, 2021 at home. She was born in Edenton on August 22, 1942 to the late Claude Rogerson and Minnie Parks Rogerson and was the wife of the late Gary Chambers.

She is survived by son Mark Chambers; daughter Lisa Richardson (Marty Staples); grandchildren Trevin Richardson, Devin Richardson, Ryan Costa and Morgan Chambers; a great-grandchild; and sister Debbie Lewis (Donny).  She was preceded in death by sisters Mary Sue Smith and Nancy Hopp and brothers Claude Rogerson and Tommy Rogerson.
