Louise Sterling Riley, 89, of Manteo, died June 15, 2021 at home.

Born in Henrico County, Va. on June 25, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Sybil White Sterling Kirby and Charles Ross Sterling.

She is survived by daughter Patricia Jump (Ralph “RC”); son Ross Sterling Riley (Karen); grandson Tyler Lee Riley; and a great-granddaughter.

In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by husband Patrick John Riley III.

A private graveside service will be held at Roanoke Island Memorial Gardens.
