Barbara Ruth Donovan, 76, of Kitty Hawk, died in her sleep July 14, 2021. Barbara was born in Massachusetts on November 21, 1944 and served in the Navy Reserves.

Barbara was married to the late Frances Charles Donovan Jr. and was also predeceased by her parents Nana and Granddad Lawton.

Survivors include son James Donovan; daughter Shannon Norton and son-in-law Scott A. Norton; grandchildren Nicholas Donovan and Curran Harmon; a great-grandson; sister Elizabeth Thompson; brother Charles Manning; a nephew and a niece

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara’s name may be made to Still Waters Baptist Church in Nags Head. Gallop Funeral Services, Inc. was entrusted with arrangements. www.gallopfuneralservices.com
