William W. Achenbach, 60, of Elizabeth City, died July 10, 2021 at home. Born at Andrews Air Force Base, Md. on March 15, 1961 to the late Orlo Achenbach and Doris J. Raver Achenbach, he was the husband of Carol D. Ankrum Achenbach.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters Lyndsey Achenbach (Paul Folkenroth) and Jennifer L. Ankrum; son Benjamin Achenbach (Amanda); sisters Alice Gante and Cheryl Krout (Scott); brothers Dwight Achenbach and Ethan Andy Achenbach (Stacie); and grandchildren Connor Colby, Grayson Gillis, Kole Gillis, Gage Gillis and Harper Achenbach.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on August 4 at Twiford Memorial Chapel with the Rev. F. Joe Griffith officiating. Twiford Memorial Chapel, Elizabeth City is serving the family. www.TwifordFH.com
