The Kill Devil Hills Police Department passed out free bike helmets, safety information and goodie bags to children at Aviation Park for the Christmas in July “Seas & Greetings” event Friday, July 23.
The park was decorated with pink flamingoes and wooden Christmas trees, and police officers in uniform presented visitors with Hawaiian leis for their neck. Santa Claus – wearing a beach shirt – was available for photos.
