Faye Dykstra Austin, 81, of Manteo, died August 3, 2021 at Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, Va.

Faye was the daughter of the late George and Ruth Brothers Dykstra of Manteo.

Survivors include Gene Everett; daughter Deanie Midgett (Timmy); son Jay Austin (Renee); granddaughters Brittney Midgett and Kelsey Oglesby (Jonathan); and two great-grandsons.

A funeral service was held August 6 at Twiford Colony Chapel with private burial in Cudworth Cemetery.
