Investigation underway into two deaths on Roanoke Island

Dare County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded early Monday morning, Sept. 13, 2021, to the scene of two deaths which occurred on Roanoke Island outside Manteo.
As of late Monday afternoon, the Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident and awaiting results from the Medical Examiner’s Office in Greenville.
