Tyrrell Elementary School receives $25k grant

The Tyrrell County Schools Board of Education and Superintendent Oliver Holley have announced that Tyrrell Elementary School’s pre-k program has received a Ribbon of Hope Grant from the NC GlaxoKlineSmith Foundation.
The grant will be used to enhance the pre-k program at Tyrrell County Elementary School allowing for additional teacher assistants to the pre-k 3 classroom, according to TCS, allowing more one-on-one and small group.
Kay Overton, executive director with Tyrrell Washington Partnership For Children, is shown presenting the $25,000 check to Holley.
