Patricia Sue Mills Ambrose, 82, of Kitty Hawk, died November 8, 2021, at home.

She was born in Dundalk, Md. on October 15, 1939, daughter of the late Mary Shaw Mills and Roy Mills. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by husband James F. Ambrose; son John A. Ambrose; grandson John Taylor Ambrose; and brother Bruce A. Mills.

Survivors include sons David Ambrose (Cheryl) and Jeff Ambrose (Rita); daughters-in-law Mary Anne Ambrose and Elizabeth Ambrose; grandchildren Madison, Nick, Jacob, Megan, Melissa, Bailey, Brady and Sydney Ambrose; a great-grandson; and sister-in-law Jo Mills.

Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on November 12 at Twiford Colony Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society (https://www.cancer.org/).
