Break out the ribbon, ornaments, jingle bells and all things that make Christmas wreaths beautiful and sparkle! The Town of Manteo and the Roanoke Island Garden Club are working together again this year for the annual wreath contest.

Members of the Roanoke Island Garden Club visited local businesses with a Christmas wreath beginning last Thursday. Decorate a wreath provided by the town and drop it off at Town Hall by Monday, November 29 at 3 p.m. Winning wreaths will be placed on the columns welcoming all to the Christmas tree parking lot and the Dare County Arts Council building. All the festive wreaths that are submitted will be placed throughout town for the holiday season.
