A beautiful early morning on Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge was captured recently.
Sunrise colors shine through a hazy, calm sky.
Sunrise and sunset are traditionally best times to observe wildlife. But even without seeing a bear, gator, otter, bald eagle or other creatures, there is plenty of beauty preserved on the local national wildlife refuges to make it worth the visit.
Take a slow drive around a wild place.
