Laura Jeanine Daniels Paul, 82, of Winterville, died December 23, 2021 at Brookdale W. Arlington Blvd in Greenville.

A native of Wanchese, she was born February 20, 1939, to the late Gladys Richardson Daniels and Ruford Anderson Daniels.

She is survived by children Lourie Proctor (Ralph), Susan Maione (Joe) and Michael Paul (Kim); grandchildren William Proctor, Oliver Proctor, Vincent Maione, Gennaro Maione, Kristi Smith, Kurtina Woolard and Harley Paul; three great-grandchildren; sister Reba Conrad and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Laura was preceded in death by husband George Edward Paul; sisters Viola Luke (Frank), Thelma Baum (Somers); brothers Robert Daniels (Loma), Dennie Daniels (Elaine) and Tommie Daniels (Edna); and brother-in-law Bob Conrad.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on January 1, 2022 at Twiford Colony Chapel with private burial to follow in Cudworth Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service. Following the funeral, all are invited to join the family at the home of Susan Maione in Nags Head.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.
