Gloria Faye Cahoon Coker, 71, of Elizabeth City, died December 31, 2021 at Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, Va. She was born on March 19, 1950 in Columbia, daughter of the late James Madison and Nellie Mae Cahoon.

Survivors include sons Stephen Coker Jr. (Huyla), Dan Coker (Anna), Wesley Coker (Carrie), Shawn Coker (Jill), Donavan Coker (Amanda) and Aaron Coker; grandchildren Tyler, Madison, Kelsey, Paige, Allie, Gracie, Libby, Aiden, Sam, Breyden, Bayla, Brewstyn, Joel, Bevany and Raegan Coker; siblings Barbara Coleman, Sue Rose, Jack “Bug” Cahoon and Charlie “Tippy” Cahoon; and father-in-law John W. Coker. She was preceded in death by husband John Stephen Coker Sr. and siblings Dana Seto and James M. “Snookie” Cahoon.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on January 5, 2022 at Twiford Memorial Chapel. Friends will be received immediately following the service. Twiford Funeral Home is serving the family. www.TwifordFH.com
