What could it be? Something catches attention of otters at Pocosin Lakes NWR

Something caught the attention of this group of American river otters (Lutra canadensis lataxina) at Pocosin Lakes National Wildlife Refuge.

Despite recent North Carolina drought conditions, the otters were able to find plenty of water in which to swim, feed and frolic.

They like to feed on fish, frogs, crayfish, crabs and aquatic creatures.
