Wanchese Christian Academy students recognized for second quarter achievements

Students at Wanchese Christian Academy were recognized for accomplishments achieved during the second quarter of the school year in a ceremony attended by parents, friends and family members.
“After a brief encouragement and list of up and coming events from Principal Holly Strum, the room was reminded of all that has happened in the last two years of stress due to Covid,” stated a WCA press release. “Not letting circumstances dictate our lives, Mrs. Strum reminded individuals to not be looking for things to return to a ‘norm,’ rather look for ways to show grace and mercy toward our fellow man.”
Students of Amy Daniels and Shannon Moore showed ceremony attendees their rhythm skills in song, action and wrist bells.
“With all the accolades students in the following categories were called forward with certificates, the ability to be out of uniform [the following day],” stated WCA. “A HONOR students were allowed in the ‘A’ box for a prize and the few perfect attendance students were given superhero figurines to have been able to be here every day of the quarter.” Students were also given a small ice cream sundae at lunch.
