Krista Stupka named The Outer Banks Hospital Employee of the Month for January

Krista Stupka, COVID RN, was named the January Employee of the Month at The Outer Banks Hospital.

Stupka joined the Outer Banks Testing and Therapy Center in August 2020 during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, she has shown dedication to patients and team members.

“She exhibits grace and resilience at all times, consistently remaining thorough and patient-focused. Her bedside manner is impeccable,” stated the announcement of her award.

Krista Sipe, director of regional operations, shared that “Krista lives to serve and has a heart of gold. She upholds our values of teamwork, accountability, and integrity.” Stupka’s team members added that “she is friendly, knowledgeable, a joy to be around, and a constant source of encouragement. She is an incredible asset to the team.”
