Health Sciences teacher Jennifer Kovacs and her HOSA Club (student organization for those interested in Health Sciences Education) were recognized for setting a school record with 47 units of blood collected in the fall blood drive hosted at First Flight High School.
Additionally, three students attended regional competitions and found success there.
Sophia Martin and JP Kovacs won first place in CPR/first aid and Hadley Hedges won second place in medical terminology. These three and others will move on to the state leadership competition in March.
