There is significant North American river otter (Lontra canadensis) action on Pea island National Wildlife Refuge.
The creatures are running, resting and nesting. They do it all and are seemingly having a ball.
The refuge also offers otters many of their favorite foods, some of which are fish, crabs and a variety of amphibians.
