Seasonal visitors at Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge

Since early December, flocks of migratory birds have enjoyed the flooded fields on Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge.
The pictured group of northern pintails (Anas acuta) will return home soon.
The refuges’ flooded fields will be drained to prepare them for the spring farming season.
