Stephen Carl Cormany Jr., 34, of Engelhard, died February 20, 2022 at Ridgewood Manor in Washington. He was born in Chesapeake, Va. on June 22, 1987 to the late Stephen Carl Cormany Sr. and Deborah Bailey Cahoon, who survives.

Graveside service was held March 7 at the Cahoon Family Cemetery in Kilkenny.

Surviving are siblings Tyler Cormany, Kortni Austin, Jacqueline Cahoon (Clayton), Virginia Cahoon, Deborah Lynn Cahoon and Samantha Cahoon; grandfather Carl E. Cormany; step-grandmother Judy Cahoon of Kilkenny and other family.

In addition to his father, he was predeceased by grandparents Marion Bailey, George Bailey Sr. and Ruby L. Cormany; step-grandfather Edison Cahoon and stepfather William Cahoon.

Memorial contributions to assist the family with final expenses may be sent to 119 Main Street, Swan Quarter, NC 27885.
