The Food Bank of the Albemarle, in partnership with Colington United Methodist Church, will visit the parking lot of First Flight Elementary School on Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 4:30-6 p.m.

When driving up to the check-in area, do not get out of the vehicle to register. A volunteer will approach and take information. Volunteers will then load the groceries into the vehicle. Leave sufficient room in the vehicle for groceries to be loaded. If there is insufficient room, the driver will be directed to an area where they can park and will be responsible for loading groceries.

Food will be distributed to area residents who struggle to make ends meet and are in need of emergency food assistance. This may be senior citizens living on fixed incomes, disabled persons, any individual or family currently receiving food stamps and working families who are making tough choices between buying food and paying for other necessities.
