Wanchese Christian Academy showed support to Ukraine by dressing out in the colors of the Ukrainian flag.

“As a group: students, administration and parents were on site to have a corporate prayer over this part of Europe,” stated information from WCA.

“Principal Holly Strum led student groups to pray over specific areas such as: provision, health, protection, government, military, and conclusion to this war. With students it is great to have a visual and the dress out was an easy reminder because this is WCA’s school colors as well.

“Secondly, is that each classroom has the Ukrainian flag hanging to keep this conflict before us. It is easy for the students to pray for children at 10 a.m. (around the time students are switching classes or going to recess). This is when their 5 p.m. curfew begins in the Ukraine.”
