Jody Mullis Mikul, 54, of Manteo, died April 3, 2022 after an arduous ride with ovarian cancer. She was born April 8, 1967 in Charlotte.

Survivors include daughters Dixie Mullis (Cameron Ray), Hannah Graham (Jack Graham) and Casey Sloate (Chris McDonald), three grandchildren, siblings Helen Mikul, Charley Mikul, Shannon Mullis and Jeremy Mullis (Amy Mullis) and other family. She was predeceased by parents Helen Mullis and Jon Mullis.

Celebration of life is set for 10 a.m. on April 22 at Jennette’s Pier in Nags Head. A sunrise walk at the pier at 6 a.m. will also be held in memory of Jody’s morning routine. Memorial donations may be made to the Outer Banks Relief Foundation.
