Ashley Gilbird was named Employee of the Month for April 2022 at The Outer Banks Hospital.

Gilbird joined the hospital in April 2013 and has become an integral part of the radiology team.

“She is a team player and is happy to assist others, however it is needed,” stated a press release from TOBH. “Showing her commitment to her role, she continues to grow, most recently by taking on the role of Charge Technologist.”

Anytime Gilbird is presented with a challenge, her attitude of “let’s figure it out!” is an inspiration to her fellow team members.

“She is constantly developing new and innovative ways to improve the Radiology department,” the release continued. “She never hesitates to be a leader and her work reflects that.”
