On May 26, 2022, John Elliott Barnes Jr. peacefully passed away at his residence. A visitation will be held at HD Oliver Funeral Apts. 2002 Laskin Rd, Va. Beach on Weds.  June 1, 2022 from 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be Thursday, June 2, at 1 p.m. at Knotts Island Methodist Church.
