Rose Capps Lewis, 94, of Elizabeth City, died at Heritage Care, Elizabeth City on June 6, 2022.  She was born March 26, 1928 in Norfolk, Va. She was predeceased by husband Elijah “Mike” Lewis, parents Benjamin and Dollie Higgins Capps and brother Benjamin Capps (Sue).

Survivors include children Richard Lewis (Shelly), Marc Lewis (Jan) and Cindy Langer (Jeff), grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on June 11 at Twiford Memorial Chapel with burial in West Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
