Fishing tournament brings in ‘SPECKtacular’ haul for boosters club

The Manteo Athletic Boosters Club held its first annual SPECKtacular Fishing Tournament in May.
Seventy-one anglers braved the rain and had a great day fishing.
Quentin Turko took first place for his 6.75 lb. speckled trout. Alex Rich snagged second place and Bud Bishop came in third.
Top lady angler was Sarah Woodley and top junior angler was Windsor Oglesby.
The tournament raised $9000 for the Manteo Athletic Boosters.
