Cecelia attended Wanchese Assembly of God where she worshipped with her children. She was very active at the Virginia S. Tillett Community Center and enjoyed the friends she made at their senior luncheons.

We will all forever cherish our memories of her, and she will always be missed.

We want her to know that she did her job well. We will remember her mischievous smile but more so her laughter. We will always remember her love to help others and how she would shelter them under her wing.  She had a servant’s heart and was never too shy to tell anyone about Jesus. She made a difference in the lives of many. And we will be forever grateful for her presence in our lives.

A celebration of life will be held at Wanchese Assembly of God at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 25, 2022. The family will greet friends and relatives at the church one hour prior to her service. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Outer Banks Dare Challenge in her memory.
