Community grants available in Currituck, Dare counties

The Currituck-Dare Community Foundation (CDCF) and the Currituck-Dare Women’s Fund will begin accepting grant applications from nonprofits serving needs in the local community.

The CDCF will award grants from its community grantmaking fund to nonprofit organizations serving Currituck and Dare counties. Grants typically range from $500 to $1,000.

The Currituck-Dare Women’s Fund accepts grant applications from organizations that support the needs of and for women and children in Currituck and Dare counties. Grants range from $500 to $2,500.

Applications to both funds are available beginning July 1. Visit nccommunityfoundation.org for information about applying. The deadline for applications is Aug. 2 at noon.

Grants are not available for regranting purposes, capital campaigns, capital improvements, out-of-state travel or for individuals. The CDCF is an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation (NCCF). The Women’s Fund is a giving circle of NCCF.
