Kathleen J. Martin, 76, of Wanchese, died July 11, 2022 in Nags Head. Kathy was born September 10, 1945 in Oil City, Penn.

Survivors include Troy “Strings” Martin, children William Noaker, Pamela Davies, Lenored Sorrell and Angel Sorrell, stepsons Brian K. Martin and Rusty B. Martin, siblings Randy Karns, Patrick Karns and Gloria Karns, brother-in-law Brian G. Martin and other family and friends.

Troy has honored Kathy’s directives for cremation. Her remains will be committed to the ocean July 16 at 3 p.m. at the yellow boat “Fishing Taxi” on the north side of Wanchese Marina.
