Currituck County Sheriff’s Office apprehends man for accessory to murder warrant, drug charge

The Currituck County Sheriff’s Office has reported that on Saturday, July 23, 2022, members of the CCSO Criminal Investigations Division, along with the Currituck County SWAT team, apprehended Johnathan Cook-Lawrence, 20.

“Lawrence was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant out of Virginia for accessory to Murder,” stated CCSO. “He was also charged by Currituck County Sheriff’s Office for possession with the intent to sell and deliver narcotics.”

Lawrence is being held in the Currituck County Detention Center on a $279,000 bond.
