Roscoe “Pete” Delias Lacy Jr., 82, of Elizabeth City, died August 1, 2022 at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center. He was born in Pasquotank County on March 2, 1940 to the late Roscoe Delias Lacy and Maggie Chappell Lacy.

Survivors include wife Nell Meads Lacy, children Sandra Lacy Chory (Ricky), Pamela Lacy and Robert Darrell Lacy (Cathy); son-in-law Kent Gardner; sister Ann Newcomb, five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by daughter Beverly Gardner and sisters Betty Midgette and Carolyn Bennett.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on August 5 at Twiford Memorial Chapel with burial in New Hollywood Cemetery.
