Blanche Moore Sherlock, 99, died August 6, 2022 at Elizabeth City Health and Rehabilitation. Blanche was born in Perquimans County on July 16, 1923 to the late Charlie Moore and Ada Dail Moore.

Survivors include children Judy S. Perry (Billy), John D. Sherlock Jr. (Betsy) and Brian Wesley Sherlock; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John Davis Sherlock Sr. and son Steven Sherman Sherlock.

Funeral service was held August 8 at Twiford Memorial Chapel with burial will be in New Hollywood Cemetery.
