Velma Lee Rose Stumph, 93, of Kill Devil Hills, died August 22, 2022 at home.

Born in Rosefork, KY on September 13, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Rosa Little and Ambrose Rose.

In addition to her parents, Velma was predeceased by husband Carroll H. Stumph, son Mark Daniel Stumph and siblings Marie, Blanche, Evelyn and Benjamin.

Survivors include son David C. Stumph; two grandchildren; one great-granddaughter and sister Virginia Davenport.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on August 27 at Twiford Colony Chapel, Manteo. Entombment will follow at Roanoke Island Memorial Gardens.
