James A. Speener Jr., 61, died at home in Colington on September 15, 2022. Jamie was born in Peoria County, Ill. on March 20, 1961.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Survivors include sons John Speener, Andy Speener and Winston Speener, daughter Emma Speener, siblings Rosalie Walkup, Etwinda Speener, Frank Speener, David Speener and Patricia Whitman as well as numerous extended family members and close friends.

Jamie’s family is honoring his directives for cremation and there are no plans for memorial services at this time. His cremated remains will be returned back home to Illinois.
