Roy Robert Murray Jr., 74, of Kill Devil Hills, died October 3, 2022, at home. Born in Trenton, NJ on October 6, 1947, he was the son of the late Eleanor Johnston and Roy Robert Murray Sr.

Survivors include wife Julia Palm; her children Laura Tutwiler and Brant Doyle (Bethany); three grandchildren; and siblings Carolee Murray and Rodney Murray.

Memorial service will be held at noon on October 16 at the Church of the Outer Banks (YMCA, Nags Head).
