Administrative professionals from the NC Cooperative Extension Administrative Professionals Association (NCCEAPA) attended their annual state and national conference September 20 through 23, 2022 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Kitty Hawk and hosted by the Northeast District. The event was a joint conference with The Extension and Research Support Staff Association (TERSSA), a national association.

Rebecca Castello, TERSSA president, stated “North Carolina TERSSA members are excited to join with NCCEAPA Northeast District in hosting this year’s annual conference.”

North Carolina Extension administrative professionals from across the state and from Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi and Ohio gathered for the three-day professional development conference.

For the community service project, Extension professionals from both associations brought along donations for Outer Banks Hotline.

The 2023 TERSSA annual conference will be held in Ohio. The 2023 NCCEAPA annual conference will be held in Wilmington and will mark the 50th anniversary of the organization.
