The Dare County Parks and Recreation Department’s Youth Basketball League is a developmental league for boys and girls ages 5 to 18. Emphasis is placed on skill-building in both sport fundamentals and sport values. Registration for the program ends November 23, 2022.

“Teams for players ages 7-15 will be formed using a skill assessment and draft process,” noted a Dare County press release.

The cost to participate is $35 per child.

Practices are tentatively scheduled to begin in December after skills days and games will begin after the holidays. Participants will be notified of practice schedules by their coaches.
