Walter Fletcher Wheeler, 85, of Manteo, died December 17, 2022 at home. He was born in Scranton, NC on December 10, 1937. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no service at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity or organization of one’s choice.
