Wanchese Christian Academy students recognized for academic, attendance achievements

Wanchese Christian Academy students celebrated their first quarter with a ceremony, during which academics and perfect attendance acknowledgements were highlighted.
Each class also showcased a literary success. Teachers varied in their literary arts by incorporating a variety of usages, such as reading advancements, Bill of Rights explanations, creative poetry of select students, book reports and more.
WCA noted that performance of the day was Bridget Reynolds’s first and second grade students reading and emphasizing The Day The Crayons Quit by Drew Watt. Afterwards, the class stopped for a group photo on the steps, showing the variety of crayon colors.

A Honors – Lexi Midgett, Zoey Ross, Penelope Wells, Isla Cordeiro, Kennedy Daniels, River Dismore, Gracelynn Doshier, Ethan Perrot, Hank Reynolds, Bobby Strum, Meri-Grace Maddox, Olivia Pettit, Noah Cordeiro, Jonah Midgett, Mary Grace Strum, Kali-Jo Beasley, Elly Simpson and Joshua Pettit.
AB Honors – Micah Burdette, Lily Hooper, Moses Balance, Evalynn Meekins, Kayden Dransfield, Vela Grace Etheridge, Layla Gibbs, Saylor Callum, Caleb East, Miles Gibbs, Evie McPherson, Shaylynn Dough, Bryleigh Payne, Sophia Pruitt, Caleb Reed, Myles Mann and Madi Lewis.
