The North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island (NCARI) is closed to the public this week for small life support renovations and preparation for future exhibits.
Staff will be on-site during the closure conducting staff trainings, renovating the life support system on the Close Encounters stingray touch pool and preparing for a future oyster exhibit. Additionally, Aquarium Society staff members will complete an inventory of the gift shop.
“This short closure opportunity allows us to complete multi-day projects that positively impact the guest experience without the necessity of overnight work,” said Larry Warner, aquarium director.
The Aquarium will reopen to the public at 9 a.m. Saturday, February 4. To make your online reservation, visit NCARI Tickets at bit.ly/3x266WN.
