Wanchese Christian Academy students were celebrated recently for their achievements in academics and one student – preschooler Parish Meekins – was honored for being the only WCA student to have perfect attendance in the second quarter of the school year.

The morning of the ceremony was filled with accolades recognizing student achievements in the science realms. Each grade presented either visual or verbal form of highlights from the science curriculum.

Preschool and kindergarten demonstrated how to wash properly and the pictures of their “germ test” were amazing with vibrant colors illustrating all sorts of germs.

First and second grade students went home with their journals as a reminder of all they have learned.

Mrs. Jessica’s class showed the layers of the earth.

Miss Caroline’s class did a detailed “Lap Book” of space and diagrams of their favorite constellations.

Middle school briefly shared their hypothesis from their science fair they completed in November.

Between presentations, students were awarded in areas of A and AB Honor Roll.
