John Nelson Butler, of Stumpy Point, died March 23, 2023 at Beth Sholom Village in Virginia Beach, Va. He was born on April 18, 1947, in Portsmouth, Va. and was a veteran of the United States Navy.

Celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in to a charity of one’s choice.
