“Stoney” Merritt Calvin Stone, of Colington Harbour, died unexpectedly on February 16, 2023 while traveling. Survivors include wife Carol Abbey Stone, sons Danny and David, grandson Christopher, daughter-in-law Michele, brother-in-law Jerry and siblings Glenda, Sandra and Robert. He was predeceased by brother Larry and brother-in-law Paul.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to N.E.S.T. in his honor. The family will host a celebration of Stoney’s life on Sunday, April 23 at 4 p.m. at 56 Trinitie Trail in Southern Shores.
