Marjorie Lacy Ballance Jester, 79, of Elizabeth City, died March 27, 2023 at Waterbrooke Assisted Living. She was born in Pasquotank County on October 18, 1943.

Graveside service was held March 31. Memorial donations may be made to Ramoth Gilead Baptist Church, 1308 Schoolhouse Road, Elizabeth City, NC 27909.
