The office of U.S. Rep. Greg Murphy (NC-03) is accepting submissions for this year’s Congressional Art Competition.
All high school students in North Carolina’s Third Congressional District are eligible to enter the district level competition. The overall winner of the district will be displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol. The exhibit in Washington will also include artwork from other contest winners nationwide.
This year’s theme is JOY! If a student is interested in participating in this year’s competition, the deadline to submit artwork is Saturday, April 22, 2023.
Each spring, Congress hosts a nationwide high school art competition, which serves as an opportunity to recognize and encourage the artistic talent in the nation and district.
